Nothing moving on the radar last night as the NE is under the effects of weak low pressure in the mid-Atlantic. Over the next several days we’re expecting the remnants of hurricane Ivan to make its way up the Appalachians, as a cold front moves into our area by Friday night. The two will likely merge over our area Saturday bringing us plenty of rain through Saturday night. What does this mean for migration? It will depend greatly on when the front pushes through, if the remnants of Ivan can be pushed out past the coast, and if the area north of us behind the front can clear enough to provide good conditions. I will be “out of the office”, so to speak, after Friday and returning on Monday, so use the real-time radar to check the local conditions during that time.
cheers
