The radar from last night is quite reminiscent of April 23rd. Just after sunset we see a heavy lift off on all the radars from Northern Florida up through New York, but around 3:30am the weather moves in from the south, putting down birds and cutting our link to the source of any major influx. Given the direction and timing of this weather system, it’s hard to predict the birding conditions for this morning. My initial gut feeling is that more birds left the area than arrived, but that remains to be seen.
