Well, I’m not sure what the net effect will be, but there was a little push of birds last night, and we did get some thunderstorms moving into the area early this morning. The radar loop is from sunset last night through 5:30 this morning. It’s hard to tell from the radar what, if any, effect the weather had on the birds since it looked pretty small and appeared to have petered out after reaching the Delaware river. If I had to guess based on this radar data, I’d say locations along the Delaware, and maybe Garret Mountain and similar places along the interior ridges should be good- but that’s really speculative at best. Go birding and find out!
