The entire eastern seaboard was alive with nocturnal migration last night. The Southeast was experiencing the birds that we saw erupt into our area after the big rains last week, and we experienced another big wave of migrants from our north. It looks as if some of the weather to our south backed up a bit overnight, causing a barrier of migration across the Delmarva. This could cause some great fallout conditions around Cape May this morning. All tried and true migrant traps should be checked this morning as we could be experiencing some high densities of birds across the state.
Good Birding! 🙂
