No migration over New Jersey last night…but it can’t last forever!
Look what I found in the local forecast:
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35. Southeast wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.
YEEHAW! That should shake things up a bit. I’ll give a detailed forecast tonight since I’ll be away over the weekend.
Update (7:45AM): The weather forecast is unclear as to whether winds will shift around to WNW this evening, before turning north again early tomorrow morning (2am or so). Depending on this shift, we should watch for a push of migrants just after sunset. Otherwise, Saturday night is still looking like the “flood gate opener”. I’ll post more tonight…after I get some REAL work done…
