I guess I can’t blame them, it was the weather that caused it. A high density of birds were seen migrating last night but they came into New Jersey from the southwest, almost entirely avoiding the Cape May peninsula (including our ornithology class- in Belleplain State Forest). I’ll post more on our trip later- once I’ve cleaned the marsh out of my pants. Here’s the radar from sunset last night through sunrise this morning.
