The weather minimized migration last night, as the front of storms pushed into our area early in the evening. The composite shows strong migration echoes over the Mid-Atlantic, with some movement into southern Pennsylvania, but most stopping short of entering either PA or NJ. This is setting us up for a big push tonight, as winds are forecast to turn southerly this evening. Birding conditions should remain stable from yesterday.
Good Birding
Frames are every 1/2 hour for reflectivity and velocity, and 1 hour for the regional composite

One response to “Very little migration last night”
A lot of activity this morning at the Celery Farm compared to yesterday morning. 7 warbler species to yesterday’s 2–highlighted by my FOY BT GREEN (2+) and NASHVILLE (occasional here in spring)
Also about twice as many Yellow-rumps as yesterday–with many feeding on or near the ground–nice little “mini” fallout
