Well, the Northeast had their big push two nights ago, and we got ours last night. It looks like a moderate influx of birds heading into our region last night, with an equally impressive exodus of birds heading south of us. Migration was in full effect last night! The velocity plots indicate that the winds did indeed switch around to the northeast by 5:00, which would suggest that the coastal sites might not be the most optimal (although with the concentration of birds along the coast last night, Cape May is definitely worth a look). The bay shore should be a good bet this morning, as well as points along the Delaware.
Good Birding! 🙂
