Northwest winds are being served up tonight- so expect a smattering of nocturnal migrants entering the state by morning. West winds would favor coastal locations…get ready to bird down the shore!

actually…the amount of birds on the radar as of 1:02 AM is much lower than expected, due to mixed wind conditions to our northeast. Birds are moving over New Jersey, but not in very high densities. Those that are moving are doing so from E–>W, so theoretically they should be apparent along the coast tomorrow. We’ll have to see…
