I participated in a Sandy Hook trip Wed. morning. Songbird migration was low, but the diurnal migrants really revved up during the morning, and by midday there was a steady stream of sharp-shins moving up the coast. Swallows seemed to be on the wing as well.
I participated in the Gloucester County Nature Club’s “Bird Quest” today.
My team birded in Clayton, NJ.
For anyone who’s interested, you can view some pictures I took and our species list at my blog.
