More birds migrate into and out of the region

The migration pattern last night was very similar to the night before, with birds moving WSW on NE winds. Here’s the radar from 6:00pm last night through 6:00am this morning.

Frames are every 1/2 hour. Click on the thumbnail to view the full-sized animation.

Given the similar pattern between the last two nights, you can consult my interpretation from yesterday morning for what to expect today. In short, based on the radar, it looks like the bulk of the birds will have landed along the NJ/PA border, at the mouth of the Delaware River, and the northern Chesapeake Bay.
Good Birding
