No migration last night, but great birds around after the storm

As the title says, nothing was moving last night given the southerly winds. But, following the low pressure system moving across the region during the last two days, some great birds have been reported. Red-necked Phalaropes have been popping up in good numbers as a result of the onshore winds, with three being reported from Spruce Run Reservoir in Hunterdon County, NJ, and FIFTEEN(!) from Brigantine, in the Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge (near the dike at the northwest pool).

Good Storm Birding to All!
