Migration was moderate over the NE and mid-Atlantic regions last night. Here’s the radar from 6:00pm last night through 6:00am this morning.

High pressure over Maine caused moderate NE->SW winds last night, triggering migration across the NE and mid-Atlantic regions. The passage of birds over the mid-Atlantic peaked around midnight, and declined rapidly afterward. No major concentrations are expected given the lack of weather to cause fallouts. Inland locations will be favored by the easterly component to the winds.
Good Birding

One response to “Moderate migration over the mid-Atlantic”

  1. Quiet in Gloucester County. A few REDSTARTS, 2 MAGNOLIAS, and one of BLACK-THROATED GREEN, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, and BLACK and WHITE. This is for a few areas. Probably new in, but very scattered.
