Thanks to everyone who contributed to the site this fall, both through your field observations and great feedback to my posts, and in your financial support to woodcreeper.com which helps greatly in keeping the lights on around here. If you feel this website provides you something valuable, you can always throw some change in the kitty by following the “Become a Member!” link on the right of this page, just below my Twitter feed. Again, your support is greatly appreciated and all donations go right back into this website.
Right now we’re heading into a week of southwest winds before the next cold front clears the region (looks like sometime on Friday), so I’m going to switch my updates from daily to semi-frequently in order to focus on some of the other pressing issues in my life (not the least of which are a beautiful new month-old daughter, a great job where I’m cutting my teeth working with a huge dataset of radar and weather data, and an article deadline that is quickly approaching). I will definitely post the forecast as soon as the weather begins to turn, so check back regularly toward the end of the week. If you follow me on Twitter (@woodcreeper) you’ll be the first to know when the next post goes up.
Thanks again for all of your support through the years (this is the 7th consecutive fall!). If you have any comments and/or suggestions, please don’t ever hesitate to shoot me an email.
Kindest Regards (and wishing you lots of great birds),
David
