Migration is hot and heavy right now over coastal New England and New Jersey. Winds over most of New York State are too strong and out of the west for a big flight, so those birds will have to wait until tomorrow night. In the meantime, we should see a flood of late October birds into the southeastern reaches of New Jersey tomorrow, kicking off the Autumn Weekend with a serious BANG! Check back here in the morning (~5:30am) for an update with radar loops.
Until then, may visions of pine siskins dance in your heads,
David
