ESE flow over the region triggered a moderate migration event last night. Here’s the radar from sunset last night through 5:00am this morning.

Migration was concentrated primarily within the Mid-Atlantic, with the heaviest returns coming from VA, the Delmarva, NJ and eastern PA. Velocity data suggests that most of these birds were headed on a NW track which bodes well for birding conditions along the Delaware River and those over the border into PA.
