  • Migration over Jerze

    Heavy migration over Jerze last night with the light winds on the eve of the thunderstorms that entered our area this morning. Weather pretty much shut everything down, but only an hour before sunrise would have done the same. Conditions should be favorable for birding if not for the current downpour…(sigh)

    No nocturnal migration evident on the radar last night, as a band of precipitation moved over New Jersey throughout the night. Here’s the radar from sunset last night through sunrise this morning, just to show what “no migration” looks like.
